Musk is selling $ 4 billion worth of Tesla shares

American businessman Elon Musk sold 4.4 million shares of Tesla Inc. This is stated in regulatory documents filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Interfax-Ukraine reports on Thursday, April 29.

Musk traded on the stock exchange on Tuesday and Thursday – that is, after the end of the deal with Twitter Inc. in the amount of $ 44 billion. The price of the parts sold ranges from $ 870 to $ 1,000 per part. Thus, the billionaire has raised approximately $ 4 billion.

Prior to this week’s share, Musk owned approximately 17%, or more than 171 million shares, according to FactSet.

Tesla stock has dropped approximately 19% since April 1, the last trading session before Musk announced a 9.2% stake on Twitter. At auctions on Thursday, the company’s shares fell 0.45% to $ 877.51.

Recall that in early April, Elon Musk opened a new Tesla plant in Texas and introduced the final version of the Tesla Cybertruck pickup truck.
