Georgia Meloni invited the Italians to understand what the Ukrainians are going through, who, due to the attacks of the Russian Federation, remain without electricity for a long time.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has called on Italians to turn off energy sources for one hour every day in solidarity with Ukraine, Reuters reported on Thursday, December 22.

“To understand what Ukrainians are going through, I ask all Italians to turn off all energy sources for one hour a day,” Maloney said.

It was also noted that his party Brothers of Italy paid tribute to Ukrainians “who defend their freedom and love for their country.”

Recall that during the war, Ukraine experienced many attacks on energy infrastructure facilities. The latest drone raid took place on December 19, with Kyiv as its main target.
