In London, they pledged to work to make sure North Korea pays heavily for supporting Russia’s illegal war in Ukraine.

Russia’s purchase of weapons from North Korea for the war in Ukraine is a sign of desperation. This is what British Foreign Secretary James Cleverley said, report on Thursday, December 22, the British government.

“The fact that President Putin turned to North Korea for help is a testament to Russia’s desperation and isolation. Together with partners, we will work to ensure that North Korea pays dearly for supporting Russia’s illegal war in Ukraine,” Cleverly said.

He confirmed US reports that North Korea had delivered missiles to Russian Wagner PMC infantry units, noting that this was contrary to UN resolutions.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK denies the information about the supply of weapons to Russia, according to the Yonhap news agency.

Recall, on Thursday, the White House reported that the DPRK supplied missiles for PMC Wagner.
