“I hope you have a good flight, Vladimir. I’m so glad to see you here. There’s a lot to talk about,” Biden wrote, commenting tweet Zelensky himself about his upcoming visit to Washington.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he went to the United States to strengthen Ukraine’s stability and defense capabilities.
“In particular, we will discuss cooperation between Ukraine and the United States with Joe Biden. I will also speak to Congress and hold several bilateral meetings,” he wrote.
Earlier on Wednesday, it became known that Vladimir Zelensky will visit the United States on December 21. He left Ukraine for the first time since the start of the war with Russia.
Later, the White House announced the program for Zelensky’s stay in Washington.
