Citizens who have not completed military service are sent to training centers without fail.
The training of the mobilized is divided into individual and collective, and can last from two to three months or more, said Roman Gorbach, head of the personnel department of the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Interfax-Ukraine writes about it.
“Citizens who have not completed military service are sent to training centers without fail. It is at least a month, if it is a more difficult specialty, then we add at least two weeks, or even a month, or even 2.5 months. This is an individual preparation,” Gorbach said at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine in Kyiv on Monday.
In addition, as Gorbach emphasized, there is a collective preparation.
“That is, when a serviceman enters the unit, and this unit is preparing to be recruited in the combat zone. This unit is also trained in training areas and other terrain areas,” said he.
The Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that in general, such training (individual + collective) “can last two or three months or more.”
Without fail, even those who already have service experience are involved in the performance of the unit’s combat missions – they undergo combat coordination, training in training areas.
Earlier, the head of the personnel department of the headquarters of the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Roman Gorbach, said that in Ukraine the indicators of the number of people called for mobilization have decreased, but there is no increase in conscription is planned after the New Year.
