In the context of a possible massive attack from Russia, one should not be tied to holidays. This was said by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Andrei Yusov on the air of the national telethon, the intelligence press service reports.
“We know what to expect from the Russian Federation, a terrorist state, but in this situation we cannot be tied to the calendar of holidays. Because this evil empire has its own logic. We see that strikes can connect with dates or events, for example, the UN meeting may be on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday, or they may not be connected, but chosen according to some other logic. In particular, military or internal political in the territory of the Russian Federation ,” he explained.
According to him, the Russian ruling regime does not hide its intention, like terrorists, to attack Ukraine’s energy system.
“Ukraine is preparing for this both by strengthening air defense and by strengthening energy security. We must be ready, there is no reason to relax,” Yusov summed up.
As you know, Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that the Ukrainian military may receive Patriot air defense in the next phase of the war.
In addition, Reznikov believes that the Russian Federation is hitting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, because in this way it hopes to persuade Kyiv to start negotiations.
