The Ukrainian military showed the remnants of enemy drones, in particular, and Iranian drones.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine briefing and presentations at the Military Media Center showed the Ukrainians the destruction of the landed drones, in particular, and details of the Iranian drones used by the Russians in the war against Ukraine. The corresponding photos were posted by RBC-Ukraine on Thursday, December 15.
The Ukrainian military displayed the remains of the Iranian Shahed-type kamikaze drone, marked in the Russian Federation as Geran-2.
Some of the details indicate that some of the UAVs are relatively new, as they are from 2020 production.
The military also demonstrated the Russian Granat drone. It should be noted that the use of this UAV by the Russians has been recorded in the Donbas since 2014.
The Ukrainian military also presented the Russian unmanned aerial vehicle Orlan-10, which has become the most common trophy for our military.
“Yesterday we witnessed another attempt to attack the civilian infrastructure of Kyiv with drones, including Iranian ones. Thanks to the Armed Forces for shooting these “birds of Russia,” said Anna Malyar, Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine, in a speech at a briefing.
It will be remembered that on December 14, Kyiv experienced two waves of enemy Shahed drone attacks. Air defense and electronic warfare units destroyed 13 enemy drones.
