A soldier browsing social networks was noticed by a mayor who was looking into the quality of work of border patrols.

In Transcarpathia, a court fined a border guard for watching a TikTok video while patrolling the Ukrainian-Slovak border. He was awarded more than 2.4 thousand hryvnia fine. On Tuesday, December 13, Zaxid.net reports in connection with the decision of the Velikobereznyansky District Court.

The publication says that the military had a phone that was banned from service and, together with a friend, watched the video instead of crossing a certain section of the border.

During this occupation, they were caught by a mayor who went to the border to check the work of the patrols.

“The servicemen were interrupted in their service, they did not patrol an area,” the resolution said.

The court found the military guilty under Part 2 of Art. 172-18 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (Violation of the rules for conducting border service).

The border guard also pleaded guilty and dropped a fine of UAH 2,465 thousand.

At the same time, until December 15, a man still has the right to appeal the decision to the Court of Appeal.

We will note, in the Nikolaev area for the rape of a teenage girl the border guard will be convicted.
