Germany plans to give Ukraine diesel locomotives and 50 million euros

The federal government also intends to give Ukraine another 50 million euros in winter aid.

German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock said the German government is discussing with Deutsche Bahn the transfer of diesel locomotives to Ukraine to maintain transport infrastructure. Spiegel writes about it.

The federal government also intends to give Ukraine another 50 million euros in winter aid.

“Money alone does not protect against freezing, and that is why specific technical assistance is so important. We need not only funds, we need generators, transformers and cables. The in- in-kind donations are just as important,” Burbock said.

Earlier, Germany announced the transfer of tanks and howitzers to Ukraine.

Remember that Berlin promised Kyiv more weapons.
