The President of Ukraine noted that France patronized the Chernihiv region freed from the enemy, and thanked for the help.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the delegates of the Ukrainian-French forum on the stability and restoration of Ukraine. This was reported on the official TG channel of the president.
“During the Ukrainian-French forum on the stability and recovery of Ukraine, he spoke about our needs. He focused on several areas,” Zelensky said.
The President mentioned that France took patronage of the Chernihiv region freed from the enemy, and this was the first of the areas discussed.
“The first is the Chernihiv region of our country, a region where France has already taken patronage. Part of the work is already underway. In particular, France has already given us help in restoring bridges. But both for the French state and for French companies there are many more opportunities and projects that require implementation,” said the President of Ukraine.
The second direction is charity work.
“Today, the Olena Zelenska Foundation will be represented in France, all areas of work. It is education, health care and humanitarian aid. People, public associations and companies of France can appear in each of the areas this,” Zelensky said.
The third direction is the biggest – it is the economy.
“And the third is the economy. The Chernihiv region that I have already mentioned and all other regions of our country need a new economic basis for life,” Zelensky said.
Separately, the president reflected on the importance of joining forces in the struggle for victory and peace.
“The faster and more effectively we combine the power of Ukraine and France, the more we will benefit from it and the more reliable peace will be, which we can restore to Ukraine and to the whole of Europe,” concluded Zelensky.
Recall that Zelensky called on allies to agree on specific points of aid to Ukraine.
