We must be prepared for the fact that the war between Russia and Ukraine will last for months and years, said the NATO Secretary General.

NATO Secretary -General Jens Stoltenberg said on Thursday, April 28, that there is a possibility that the war between Russia and Ukraine will last not only for months, but also for many years, Sky News reports.

“We have to be prepared for the long term … There is an absolute possibility that this war will last and last for months and years,” he said.

The Secretary -General of the Alliance assured that NATO would continue to provide assistance to Ukraine – it would include rearmament from old Soviet weapons to modern Western military equipment.

According to Stoltenberg, NATO countries have provided Ukraine with military support worth approximately $ 8 billion.
