In the Kharkiv region, after a large-scale counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the front line changed in autumn, the most difficult direction is the Kupyansk direction, but there is no threat of an offensive from the invaders yet.

Our front line has shifted, and the main hot direction is now Kupyanskoe. Let me remind you that 29 settlements are under occupation there. In the Kupyansk direction, active hostilities are underway. Our armed forces are holding their positions. We do not see any threats of a possible offensive, – Oleg Sinegubov, chairman of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said on the air of the national marathon.

In the Kupyansk region, as a result of constant enemy shelling, the local population suffers.

The city of Kupyansk is under fire from multiple launch rocket systems and S-300 missile systems. These attacks are constant. Also, the settlements of the Chuguevsky district, in particular the city of Volchansk, in the north – the settlements of the Kharkov district, again this is due to the fact that the front line in the north now runs almost along the border, Sinegubov noted.

Currently, fortifications are being built in the region, and defense lines are being strengthened.

Recall that in the Kharkiv region, less than 1.5% of the territory remains temporarily occupied.
