The General Staff announced the achievements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the front

The Armed Forces successfully attacked the enemy command posts and hit the area where the occupying artillery was concentrated.

On the current day, missile and artillery units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit five command posts, eight personnel concentration areas, one artillery concentration area and enemy ammunition. This was reported in the evening summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on December 8.

It was also noted that during the day the enemy launched two missiles and three air strikes, and also made more than 20 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and settlements on the line of collision. Again, civilian infrastructure facilities in the cities of Kupyansk, Zolochev and Ochakov received blows.

• In the directions of Volyn and Polesye, the situation did not change significantly, and no signs of the formation of offensive groups of the enemy were found.

• In the Seversky direction, the enemy opened fire from mortars and cannon artillery on the settlements of Khrinovka and Gremyach of the Chernihiv region and Seredina-Buda and Chernetskoe of the Sumy region.

• At the direction of Slobozhansky, artillery shelling was carried out in the areas of Veterinary, Goptovka, Strelka, Zelenoe, Ternovaya, Staritsa, Varvarovka, Dvuhletnaya and Kamenka settlements in the Kharkiv region. The invaders launched an air strike not far from Kamenka.

• In the direction of Kupyansk, the enemy is on the defensive. He carried out attacks in the areas of the settlements of Berestovo, Sinkovka, Petropavlovka, Kislovka, Kotlyarovka and Tabaevka in the Kharkov region and Novoselovskoe, Stelmahovka and Peschanoe in the Lugansk region.

• In the direction of Limansky, the enemy shelled the areas of the settlements of Makeevka, Ploshchadka and Nevskoye in the Luhansk region and Torskoye and Grigorovka in the Donetsk region.

• In the direction of Bakhmut and Avdeevsky, the enemy is concentrating his main efforts on conducting offensive operations. The attack from tanks, mortars and rocket artillery was subjected to areas with thirty settlements. Among them are Andreevka, Verkhnekamenskoye, Berestovoye, Belogorovka, Veseloye, Blagodatnoye, Soledar, Bakhmutskoye, Bakhmut, Polling, Avdeevka, Vodianoe, Pervomayskoye, Nevelskoye, Krasnogorovka, Ostroye, Maryinka and Novo Donmiklov regions. The enemy launched strikes with operational-tactical forces and army aviation in the areas of the settlements of Spirnoye, Klishchievka, Severnoye, Kamenka, Pervomayskoye and Nevelskoye.

• In the direction of Novopavlovsk, the invaders were on the defensive. Artillery and mortar attacks were carried out on the positions of our troops near the settlements of Vuhledar, Novoselka, Prechistovka and Zolotaya Niva in the Donetsk region.

• In the direction of Zaporozhye, the areas of twenty-two settlements were damaged by fire. In particular, these are Vremovka and Novopol of the Donetsk region and Dorozhnyanka, Huliaipole, Zheleznodorozhnoye, Orekhov, Novodanilovka, Novoandreevka, Maly Shcherbaki, Stepne of the Zaporozhye region. The occupiers also used aircraft to strike the areas of Maly Shcherbakov and Stepnoy.

• In the direction of Kherson, the enemy is conducting defensive operations. He conducted tank and artillery shelling in seventeen settlement districts. Among them are Kachkarovka, Monastyrskoye, Novoberislav, Berislav, Lvov, Ivanovka, Novotyaginka, Inzhenernoe, Pridneprovskoe and Antonovka in the Kherson region and in the vicinity of the city of Kherson.

It is also reported that fake information is spreading on the territory of the Russian Federation aimed at discrediting the military-political leadership of Ukraine, namely, the alleged evidence of the appointment of a monetary reward for the destruction of military personnel of the armed forces of the Russian Federation gives from 700 to 1 thousand US dollars.

In addition, in the temporarily occupied territory of the Lugansk region, the occupying authorities are reorganizing individual units. After carrying out these measures, the relatives of the deceased servicemen were denied compensation in the amount of three million Russian rubles in connection with the disbandment of the unit and the lack of legal grounds.
