Moldovan border police opened a case due to the downing of a Russian rocket near the Ukrainian border.
The Russian Ambassador in Chisinau, Oleg Vasnetsov, will be summoned to the Moldovan Foreign Ministry over the downing of a Russian missile in the border town of Briceni. This was announced on Wednesday, December 7, by the Prime Minister of the Republic, Natalia Gavrilitsa, on the air of the TVR Moldova TV channel.
“We cannot face so many dangers for millions of people every few days. The fighting must stop. I know that the Foreign Ministry will call the Russian ambassador,” Gavrilitsa said.
He also noted that the country’s authorities will conduct an investigation, while they intend to involve international organizations that will help to clarify the circumstances of the fall of the missile on the territory of Moldova.
As you know, a Russian missile fell near the Moldavian city of Briceni, located on the border of the Chernivtsi region of Ukraine.
Also, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Alexei Danilov, said that the rocket that fell in Moldova must have something to do with Russia.
