Vladimir Putin explained the behavior of Russian deserters by the fact that they experience “certain feelings.”
There are cases of desertion among the Russian occupation troops on the territory of Ukraine. It was forced to welcome the President of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, to a meeting with members of the Human Rights Council (HRC) on Wednesday, December 7th.
“Did any men leave their combat positions? Yes, it happened, now less and less … I repeat again: we don’t have anything like this on a mass scale,” said Putin.
He also denied the information that there are “camps for deserters” on the territory of Ukraine.
“We don’t have any zones, camps, it’s all nonsense, baseless fakes,” assured the Russian president.
At the same time, Putin baselessly said that in Ukraine deserters “are shot on the spot, and mass executions are carried out directly in public, in front of the line” and it seems “not a secret.”
Putin also explained the behavior of Russian deserters: “After all, a person who enters the battle zone from civilian life, even after preparation, will not experience certain feelings inherent in a complete normal person.”
He emphasized that “most of these people voluntarily return to combat service, even after being wounded, because there is a period of adaptation to the conditions in which people perform combat service. “
Recall that the last case of desertion in the Russian army occurred the day before. A gunman opened fire on police in the suburb of Novoshakhtinsk in the Rostov region and wounded one of the officers.
And now the deserter was caught. Information appeared on social networks that it was a mercenary from Wagner PMC Pavel Nikolin, serving time for theft and robbery.
