The head of the State Department sees no signs that support for Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression may stop.
The bipartisanship of the US Congress takes a strong position in support of Ukraine in opposition to Russian aggression. This was announced on Tuesday, December 6, by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
“One sign of our current efforts to support Ukraine is very strong bipartisan support,” the head of the State Department said.
Blinken assured that he saw no sign that this support could end.
At the same time, he noted that it remains important for the current administration to maintain communication with the American people on foreign policy issues, including through elected members of Congress.
Recall that the Democratic Party retained control of the Senate, despite all the predictions about the victory of the Republican Party.
