The man repeatedly posted anti-Ukrainian publications on his own page in the social network.
Law enforcement officials exposed a Kiev resident who publicly supported the actions of the aggressor country Russia and conducted a search of his premises. The prosecutor’s office of the city of Kiev reported this on Tuesday, December 6.
It is indicated that a 67-year-old resident of the capital, a native of the Sumy region, has become a supporter of the “Russian world”.
Meanwhile, Ukrainska Pravda, citing sources, claims that it is the father of former lawyer Valentin Rybin, who at one time defended defendants in Euromaidan cases, Russian prisoners, collaborators and pro-Russian figures.
The man was informed of the suspicion of the fact of public rejection of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and public calls to support the decisions and actions of the aggressor state (part 1 of article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) .
According to the investigation, Rybin’s father repeatedly posted anti-Ukrainian publications on his social network page justifying and acknowledging the legal armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, as well as the actions of the Russian army in the temporarily occupied territories of our state.
During a search of the man’s residence, law enforcement officers seized pro-Russian propaganda booklets with banned symbols, St. George ribbons, Russian rubles, and others.
The issue of placing the suspect on the wanted list has been decided.
According to Novinarnya, at the end of March 2022, Valentin Rybin left Ukraine, left for Spain, using such right as the father of three small children. On April 1, he was informed by mail of the suspicion of manufacturing, distribution of communists, Nazi symbols and propaganda by communist and national socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes.
In September, the qualification and disciplinary commission of the Ternopil region bar deprived Valentin Rybin of the right to engage in advocacy.
Recall that last week a supporter of the “Russian world” was detained for “mining” the office building in Kyiv. The reason for his action, the man explained was his alleged dissatisfaction with the power outage.
