Many businesses in conditions of constant blackouts are forced to buy generators in order not to stop working.
In Ukraine, due to ongoing blackouts, prices for eggs and poultry may increase. The lack of a stable source of electricity interferes with the full operation of poultry enterprises and leads to an increase in production costs. This was announced on Monday, December 5, by the executive director of the Association of the Union of Poultry Breeders of Ukraine Serhiy Karpenko, writes UBR.
He noted that many industries are forced to provide generators to poultry houses and reduce production to reduce costs.
“Uninterrupted operation of electrical equipment is critical, as it ensures the bird’s life in the area,” explained Karpenko.
He added that the incubators are mainly provided with generators, because the loss of electricity leads to a huge loss of production for incubation and lack of young animals.
