Today, December 5, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated the volunteers on their holiday.
“Today is International Volunteer Day. International, but so Ukrainian. This is the day of our millions of people. Not hundreds and thousands, but millions. This is the day of all those who helped protect the state. All of those who help protect people. All who give their souls, time and money so that Ukraine and Ukrainians succeed – so that they win. Glory to all who help in our defense! Glory to all who help our volunteers ! Thanks to each and every one who takes part in volunteer work! Glory to Ukraine!” – said Zelensky’s congratulations on International Volunteer Day.
The Office of the President presented the “Golden Heart” award for volunteers.
“It’s a heart. A heart of gold for ordinary people who protect us all. This year, we start awarding this badge to those who really deserve it. Those who have hearts of gold, and that’s why they are volunteers!” of Ukraine wrote.
Earlier, Zelensky noted the excellent work of the Ukrainian air defense.
