The Office of the Prosecutor General reports that citizens often testify about the deaths and injuries of their relatives, the imposition of air strikes by occupiers on private buildings and civilian infrastructure of their destroyed cities and villages.
Ukrainians have already submitted approximately 12,000 reports of Russian war crimes to the single evidence collection portal. This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
We are talking about 11949 messages transferred to the unified portal for collecting evidence of war crimes warcrimes.gov.ua of the Russian Federation. Prosecutors are also accepting testimonies and evidence of Russian army atrocities from refugees at specially equipped points on the state border.
Such testimonies are given by forced migrants in different regions of the country. Ukrainian prosecutors have interrogated that of the 8994 victims and witnesses, the materials of criminal proceedings are constantly supplemented by information from open sources.

“The prosecutor’s office urges witnesses not to remain silent. Every new witness is an opportunity to bring to justice the Russian military that deliberately committed crimes in Ukraine. Every case, every detail must be recorded. Known and understood of prosecutors what information should be gathered, ”the message said.
It was reported that witnesses or victims could provide information remotely to warcrimes.gov.ua, personally to the prosecutor at a specially equipped border checkpoint when leaving, or in person to the nearest prosecutor’s office. Each witness is guaranteed confidentiality, protection of personal data and preservation of evidence.
“Our task is to bring to justice both the direct executors – the soldiers of the Russian army, and their commanders. Up to the highest military -political leadership of the Russian Federation,” the Prosecutor General’s Office said in a statement.
Earlier it was reported in Irpin, the three assailants raped his mother and younger sister, 15 years old, to death in front of a young girl.
