Christoph Heusgen noted that Ukraine has every right to reclaim and return its territory.

The head of the Munich Security Conference, Christoph Heusgen, said that Germany should support Ukraine if it decides to return Crimea by military means. He said this in an interview with Deutsche Welle.

“Crimea, of course, is part of Ukraine, and Ukraine has every right to take back and return its territory. Therefore, the decision should be made by Ukraine,” said Christoph Heusgen.

According to him, Germany tried to solve the problem with the Russian Federation through diplomacy after the start of its aggression against Ukraine in 2014 through negotiations and agreements in Minsk.

“Now Russia has pushed all these efforts into the background – Russia is acting very aggressively, Russia is responsible for the death of tens of thousands of people. Just look at Mariupol, how they destroyed it ! They destroyed it like Grozny. So we must give full support to the Ukrainians, and if Ukraine can return Crimea, it must be supported,” said the head of the Munich Security Conference.

Recall that the Ministry of Defense hinted at the imminent liberation of Crimea.
