The President named the number of Ukrainians freed from Russian captivity

The previous day, the defenders of Mariupol and Azovstal were returned, the prisoners who were in Yelenovka, the wounded, along with the battles in the direction of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporozhye.

Since February 24, more than 1.3 thousand Ukrainians have been returned from captivity in Russia. This was announced on Thursday, December 1, by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.

“Today, another 50 Ukrainians returned home from Russian captivity. Four officers, 46 sergeants and privates. The army, the territorial defense, the National Guardsmen, the Navy and the border guards. I thank our whole team working to free Ukrainians: Budanov, Yermak, Usov, Malyuk, Lubinets. It’s great. Thanks to everyone who helped!” – said the head of state.

Zelensky said that more than 1.3 thousand Ukrainians have been returned from Russian captivity.

“We will return everything! All Ukraine will be free. All Ukrainians will be at home,” he added.

Recall that another 50 Ukrainian defenders were released from Russian captivity.

It should be noted that searches throughout Ukraine are conducted at the UOC facilities of the Moscow Patriarchate. Presumably, the imprisoned collaborators could be attached to the exchange fund.
