The Office of the President spoke about the progress of the restoration of the liberated regions

In the liberated Chernihiv region, communities are returning to normal life after demining, more than 16,000 explosive shells were seized in the region. Kyrylo Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the President’s Office, spoke about the restoration of unoccupied territories on Facebook.

In the region, work continues to restore transportation links – temporary crossings are being built, destroyed bridges have been restored.

“In the Chernihiv region, near the destroyed bridge on the R-69 Kyiv-Chernihiv road, another temporary road is being built to provide logistics routes for the delivery of humanitarian cargo. In the villages of Topchievka and Yakubovka, the work is underway to restore bridges, “said Tymoshenko.

Also, large -scale work on roads and streets continues in the Kyiv region – 170 kilometers of roads have been removed and traffic has resumed with 11 temporary crossings. Work is underway to restore critical communications.

“More than half of the houses in the region returned to power, more than 80 thousand subscribers were cured. Gas distribution was fully or partially restored in 106 communities of the Kyiv region. In the village of Borodyanka, almost 30% of consumers are given water, in particular, with water in the hospital, “Timoshenko.

In the Kharkiv region, about 100 kilometers of roads have been removed, and 25 teams are working daily to restore the road infrastructure.

“Residents of more than 600 apartments in Kharkiv can use gas again. Public utilities are repairing and inspecting the housing stock of Kharkiv. In Dergachi, the number of houses with electricity is rising every day. 3,000 consumers are connected, “wrote the deputy head of the OP.

In addition, in the Sumy region, rail communication with Kyiv has resumed, and approximately 70% of suburban bus routes also operate.

Restoration work continues in the Zhytomyr region, where communities have once again received electricity and gas.

“We are working 24/7 so that everyone can get home as soon as possible. Glory to Ukraine!” Tymoshenko summed up.

It should be noted that of the 6 thousand communities in Zhytomyr, Zaporozhye, Kyiv, Nikolaev, Sumy, Kharkov and Chernihiv regions, 1.5 thousand are under employment.
