More than 20,000 people gathered at night in Pyongyang’s central square for a parade in honor of the 90th anniversary of the creation of the Korean People’s Army.
In North Korea’s capital, Pyongyang, on the night of Tuesday, April 26, a military parade was held in honor of the 90th anniversary of the creation of the Korean People’s Army, South Korean media reported.
It is noted that for the parade in the plaza named Kim Il Sung mobilized about 20 thousand soldiers.
More than 250 pieces of equipment were seen at the parade rehearsals, including the Hwaseong-8 hypersonic missile, as well as the recently tested Hwaseong-17 intercontinental ballistic missile and submarine-launched ballistic missile.
The parade was watched by head of state Kim Jong-un, who in a welcoming speech said the DPRK would destroy any force trying to start a military conflict, the North Korean Central News Agency reported.
The North Korean leader was accompanied by his wife Lee Sol-ju. And Kim Jong-un himself, judging by the picture, has gained weight again.
It was previously reported that the Hwaseong-12 missile launched by the DPRK exceeded the speed of sound by 16 times.
It will be recalled that at the end of last year, Kim Jong-un lost record weight. Local media even reported that he was “completely paralyzed.” Pyongyang reported Kim Jong-un’s condition as “heartbreaking”. “The sight of our honorable general secretary, who looks haggard, is breaking people’s hearts. Everyone says they immediately cried,” the broadcaster said on the DPRK’s state television framework.
