An online platform Social Education Platform is being launched in Ukraine, where local government employees will be trained in social work and the organization of social services. This was reported by the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.
“The Ministry of Social Policy, with the support of SURGe, Support to Ukraine’s Reforms for Governance project, announced on December 7, 2022 the presentation of the Social Education Platform – the first online state platform for training representatives of local government, social services, providers and organizations whose activities are related to the social sphere in territorial communities,” said the statement.
It was noted that the platform will host educational materials on the implementation of social work and the organization of social services in territorial communities, ensuring and protecting the rights of the child, combating domestic violence and human trafficking.
Upon completion of online courses, certificates of successful training completion will be issued.
Recall that in the state budget of Ukraine for 2023, 122.12 billion hryvnias were allocated for education, which is 20% less than in the past.
