High-precision missiles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine transferred by the British department are used against Russian armored cars and tanks.
Britain has provided Ukraine with high-precision laser-guided Brimstone 2 missiles. This was reported by the British Ministry of Defense on Twitter on Sunday, November 27. The agency also showed a video with the delivery and presentation of the missiles.
“As part of its aid package, the UK has provided the Armed Forces with Brimstone 2 precision-guided missiles,” the statement said.
The Ministry of Defense noted that their assistance played an important role in stopping Russia’s advance.
The ministry also noted that Brimstone missiles are designed to be launched from aircraft at ground targets, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully use them from the ground against armored vehicles and tanks.

Brimstone 2 is a modification of the first version of Brimstone.
It has laser guidance, when launched from the air it can fly 60 km, from the ground – up to 10-12 km.
Recall that in Britain they decided for the first time to transfer helicopters to Ukraine, as well as a batch of 10,000 artillery shells.
In addition, earlier British media reported that the UK had sent upgraded Brimstone 2 laser-guided missiles to Ukraine.
