Allies announced assistance to Ukraine in the fight against the energy crisis

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said the European Union is transferring 200 medium-sized transformers, a large autotransformer, and 40 power generators to Ukraine. According to the head of the EC, the European Commission has intensified its efforts and is working with partners to provide emergency support to Ukraine, which is necessary to restore and maintain the supply of electricity and heat.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is providing Ukraine with 80 generators. The aid is only part of the US response to Russia’s brutal and ongoing attacks on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure.

Korea will provide Ukraine with 20 generators with a capacity of 450-500 kW, as well as five DOOSAN DX17Z mini-excavators as humanitarian aid. This was stated by the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Korea, Dmitry Ponomarenko. The delivery of the generators is planned to be carried out by a charter flight on December 12.

Prague authorities are sending hundreds of heaters, units and medical equipment worth 22 million kroons to Kyiv and Nikolaev. The Czech Republic will support Ukraine until victory over Russia and post-war reconstruction.
