Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine conducted counterintelligence activities on the territory of the Chernivtsi-Bukovina diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (MP). It was reported on the website of special services on Friday, November 25.

Correspondence of diocese leaders with Moscow administrators was also exposed, in which they received “manuals” on the details of holding church liturgies after a full-scale invasion.

“Representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church set a task of disinformation about the socio-political situation in Ukraine and the situation at the front. In particular, they demanded that the priests of the UOC reject the armed aggression of Russia in Ukraine, talk about the alleged oppression. of the “Moscow church”, etc.,” – said in the message.

The SBU also found warehouses with wholesale batches of pro-Kremlin literature, praising the aggressor country and calling to support the occupiers.

“In addition, when examining the computers of the diocese leadership, photocopies of the IDs of Russian racists who took part in battles against Ukrainian troops were found. Among these documents are the IDs of” Heroes of Russia “, signed by the Minister of Defense of Russia for the “seizure of Crimea” in 2014, – noted in the special service .
