Russia launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. As a result of the attack, people died and dozens of people were injured.
A seat on the UN Security Council is still “occupied” by Russia, but no one is willing to listen to his lies. This was announced on Wednesday, November 23, by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
“I just turned to the UN Security Council and urged to respond. To respond to the fear of Russia. One seat on the Security Council is still occupied, and they tried to say something from there. I’m sure that no one in the world wants hear Russia’s lies. Really: this seat is empty,” the head of state stressed.
He also recalled that the European Parliament recognized Russia as a terrorist state and called on the European Union and its members to create a legal framework for such recognition to operate at the national level throughout Europe, and to have legal consequences, not just political ones.
“And Russia – as if the whole world didn’t matter – continued the missile attack today,” Zelensky said.
It should be noted that the representative of the Russian Federation, Vasily Nebenzia, who was present at the UN meeting, said that Russia will continue to attack Ukraine, people in Ukraine are dying because of the Ukrainian air defense, and on the right bank of the Dnieper, Ukraine “began to clear the population.”
Recall that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky spoke at a meeting of the UN Security Council. He called on the organization to condemn Russian missile attacks on our country’s energy infrastructure and called them “crimes against humanity.”
