The Russians continue to build fortifications in the Belgorod region on the border with Ukraine.
The governor of this region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, published new footage on the construction of a “defense line” and stated that the defense lines are being formed due to the tense situation in the region, including numerous shelling.
According to Gladkov, work in different areas has been carried out since April this year and is being carried out on a large scale.
The photos published by the Russian governor showed ditches dug in ordinary terrain and the installation of anti-tank gouges along the road – concrete structures in the shape of a pyramid. The photo shows that one of the dug trenches is filled with water, probably it was flooded by groundwater.
In October, Russia defiantly began to show the process of building the so-called defense line in the Belgorod region near the border with Ukraine.
Then, in the photo and video, the laying out of concrete “pyramids” in two lines at a distance of 2-3 meters from one another was recorded without being buried in the ground. The Russians claimed that these fortifications would be combined into a layered defense and there would be several such lines.
The Rashists planned to continue the so-called Wagner Line, which the Russians began to build in the fall in the occupied part of the Luhansk region.
In early November, Rakurs wrote that the Russians were digging trenches in the northern part of the annexed Crimea. Last month they prepared additional fortifications on the Chongar Isthmus, and now they are building a new line of defense in the area of temporarily occupied Armyansk.
