Local authorities have confirmed two explosions that removed two of the most powerful antennas, and Russian media is reporting an attack on a military airport.
In unknown Transnistria on the morning of Tuesday, April 26, two radio communication towers and a military airport were blown up. Information about the demolition of the towers was confirmed by the local “MVD”, and social networks and RosSMI were reporting about the shelling at the airport.
In particular, it was noted that the two antennas of the radio center, which perform the function of air relay on Russian radio, are disabled. According to preliminary data, there were no victims.
“According to data at 9 am, it is known that two of the most powerful antennas are out of order: one – megawatt, the second – half a megawatt. Both rebroadcast radio of the Russian Federation,” the Pridnestrovian Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
Also, unconfirmed so far information has emerged that in addition to shelling towers in Transnistria, a military airport located near Tiraspol was also attacked.
RosSMI says the alleged “NATO-style” mines were taken down from the 60-mm drone.
The other day, Transnistria announced the shelling of the “Ministry of State Security”. The shots were reportedly fired from a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher.
In turn, Ukrainian intelligence reported that a series of explosions in the building of the so-called “Ministry of State Security” of unrecognized Transnistria was a planned provocation of Russian special services.
