Two explosions of heavy artillery shells also erupted between the villages of Bunyakino and Novaya Sloboda in the same area. Soon, a detachment of border guards, along with fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, heard seven gunshots near the village of Girino in the Sumy region.
“Most likely, it was the sounds of mortar use. Fortunately, none of the employees or civilians were injured as a result of the shelling,” the message said.
Subsequently, the chairman of Sumy OVA Dmitry Zhivitsky commented on the shelling. He said the mortars also hit the territory of the Belopolskaya community. No one was killed.
On the morning of April 25, the invaders launched rocket attacks on Zhmerinka and Kazatin.
