Polish-Ukrainian cooperation and friendship will be the basis of the future of Europe, says Mateusz Morawiecki.

Poland forwarded its tanks to Ukraine. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki, according to his press service in Twitter on Monday, April 25th.

“Yes, Poland has provided tanks to Ukraine, but for the safety of our friends in Ukraine, we will not discuss their number,” Morawiecki said, adding that it will be reported “in due course.”

He also expressed the opinion that “Polish-Ukrainian cooperation and friendship will be the basis of future Europe and future peace in Europe.”

“I’m convinced this time is closer than we think,” Morawiecki said.

It was previously reported that the UK was sending Challenger 2 tanks to Poland to replace the T-72 tank that Warsaw would transfer to Kyiv.

The media also reported that Slovenia will transfer 54 M-84 tanks to Ukraine. In return, he will receive a Marder infantry fighting vehicle and Fuchs wheeled armored vehicle from Germany.
