Poland remains one of the countries that actively supports Ukraine in the fight against the Russian invaders.
Ukraine must win the war that Russia has unleashed against it. Western partners should help him in this matter. This was announced on Saturday, November 19, by the Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Army, General Raimund Andrzejczak, at a forum on international security organized in Canada, PAP reports.
“Ukraine must win, this is our mission, period,” Andrzejczak said.
When asked about the dilemma of prioritizing climate change and security, he pointed to the interdependence of climate change in Africa and the rise of immigration to Europe.
In this context, Andrzejczak emphasized the importance of the experience gained from the war in Ukraine – for example, the ability to quickly build infrastructure to serve refugees, using Poland as a logistics hub.
Earlier, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki explained why Ukraine’s victory was important.
