In Ukraine, on November 19, the Law on social and legal protection of people in which the fact of deprivation of personal freedom as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine and members of their families was established,” the report of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
“Citizens of Ukraine, for whom, according to the Law of Ukraine No. 2010-IX, the fact of deprivation of personal freedom as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine is established, are subject to compulsory pension insurance of state,” the statement said.
It is noted that insurance premiums for them for the entire period of captivity and for six months after release are paid from the state budget.
The document provides that the period of captivity will be counted in the period of insurance pension, as well as in the period of insurance of work in dangerous conditions, which gives the right to assign an additional pension.
