Polish authorities expect the results of the investigation of the missile hit in the village of Przewodow, in Lublin Voivodeship, to be announced in the coming days.
The fall of a rocket on Polish territory near the Ukrainian border does not affect relations between the countries. This was announced on Thursday, November 17, by the head of the Bureau of International Policy under the President of Poland, Jakub Kumoch, reports Polsat News.
To the journalist’s question about whether relations between Warsaw and Kyiv changed after the rocket fell on Polish territory, he replied that there was no increased tension between the parties.
“There is no sharp exchange of views between the presidents of the countries,” he said.
Kumoch noted that it is important for Warsaw to understand if this is an attack on Poland.
“Poland was not attacked. A tragic incident took place in Poland. Of course, the blame lies with Russia, because it terrorizes Ukraine,” Kumoch stressed.
It should be noted that Ukrainian experts came to Poland to take part in the investigation of the incident related to the fall of the rocket.
According to preliminary data from NATO, the incident was related to the work of the Ukrainian air defense, which repelled a Russian missile attack.
