General Staff: The APU inflicted losses on the enemy and damaged the bridge

The Ukrainian military inflicted serious losses on the Russian aggressors in the Donbass and damaged the railway bridge in the Zaporozhye region. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the evening summary on Wednesday, November 16.

So, as a result of a strike on the enemy’s concentration area in the village of Denezhnikovo in the Novayaadarovskaya district of the Luhansk region, the Russians died and wounded about 50 people.

At the same time, it was confirmed the killing of eight invaders and the wounding of 16 people on November 9 near the town of Amvrosievka, Donetsk region.

“As a result of the actions of the Defense Forces, the railway bridge in the settlement area of ​​Chernigovka in the Zaporozhye region was damaged. This makes it impossible to use the structure in the interests of the Russian invaders,” the General. The staff noticed.

Also confirmed the defeat of the location of enemy personnel on November 15 in the areas of the settlements of Skadovsk, Novonikolaevka and Novaya Mayachka. Losses are specified.

In addition, Defense Forces aircraft delivered two strikes against the enemy during the day – on the positions of the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile systems.

On the current day, the artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit two command posts, three places of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, and two ammunition depots of the Russian invaders.

In turn, the invaders delivered two air strikes, three missile strikes and more than 13 attacks from the MLRS. A missile attack was carried out on a civilian infrastructure facility in Zaporozhye.

Adversary of the enemy in the main directions:

• in the Slobozhansky direction – from artillery of various types, in the areas of the settlements of Strelecha, Glubokoe, Morokhovets, Ternovaya, Staritsa, Volchansk, White Well, Bochkovo, Malaya Volchya and Komissarov;

• in the Kupyansky and Limansky directions – from artillery of various sizes, in the areas of the settlements of Kislovka, Berestovo, Novoselovskoye, Stelmakhovka, Andreevka, Grekovka, Makeevka, Nevskoye and Terny;

• in the direction of Bakhmut – from tanks and the entire range of artillery, in the areas of the Disputed settlements, Yakovlevka, Soledar, Bakhmutskoye, Bakhmut, Poprosnoye, Zelenopolye, Kurdyumovka and Ozaryanovka;

• in the direction of Avdeevka – from tanks, mortars, cannons and rocket artillery, in the areas of Kamenka, Avdeevka, Pervomaisky, Nevelsky and Maryinka;

• in the Novopavlovsky direction – from artillery of various types, in the areas of the settlements of Ugledar, Bogoyavlenka, Prechistovka Zolotaya Niva;

• in the direction of Zaporozhye – from mortars, cannons and rocket artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Novopol, Temirovka, Olgovskoye, Malinovka, Gulyaipole, Dorozhnyanka, Zheleznodorozhnoe, Belogorye and Shcherbaki.

“In the direction of Kherson, the settlements of Nikopol and Krasnogrigorievka of the Dnipropetrovsk region were directly affected by cannon fire and rocket artillery,” added the General Staff.

Remember that on the day of November 15, the Russians lost 630 people who died. The total losses of the enemy are approaching 83 thousand.
