The President received reports from the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Air Force and “they cannot be trusted.”
President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his belief that the rocket that fell on Polish territory on Tuesday was not Ukrainian. He said this while talking to reporters on the air of the telethon on Wednesday, November 16.
“I have no doubt that this is not our missile or our missile strike,” Zelensky said.
According to the president, he received reports from the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Air Force and “he cannot trust them” because he “went through a war” with them.
Zelensky believes that Ukraine should be allowed the area of shelling in Poland.
“Can we not speak of the final conclusions? Do we have the right to be included in the investigative team? Of course,” he said.
Zelensky noted that Ukraine is a “human shield” for all of Eastern Europe, but he has not heard this from the West. At the same time, he talked with the leaders of other states in a confidential mode at night.
“I believe it is a Russian missile, based on the credibility of military reports,” the president summed up.
Remember, on November 15, Russia launched a massive missile attack on the territory of Ukraine. Two rockets fell on Polish territory, killing two people.
The Russian Defense Ministry refused to take responsibility for the shelling of Polish territory, saying that it was not their missile.
And US President Joe Biden suggested it could be a Ukrainian air defense missile.
