The head of state commented on the information about the Russian missile attack on Poland. He believes it is “a matter of time.”
Ukraine has warned its Western partners that the possibility of a Russian strike on their territory will increase. This was announced on Tuesday, November 15, by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his video message, commenting on the information that two Russian missiles fell in Poland.
“Today something happened that we have been warning for a long time. Fear is not limited to the borders of our state. Russian missiles hit Poland, the territory of our friendly country,” the head of state insisted.
According to him, Kyiv has consistently told partner countries that Russia will not limit itself to strikes only on the territory of Ukraine.
“Poland, the Baltic states… It was a matter of time before the Russian terror goes further,” Zelensky summed up.
To recall, the Polish media reported that two unidentified rockets fell near the village of Przewoduv, Lublin Voivodeship, on the border with Ukraine. They ended up in grain dryers. Two people died. Police, prosecutors and the military are on the scene.
Note that the US Department of Defense has yet to officially confirm that a Russian missile or several missiles launched in Ukraine could fall on Polish territory.
