QUILCENE, laundry. (AP) – A woman who accidentally threw her cell phone into a hole in an open forest in the National Forest and fell while trying to retrieve it has been rescued by firefighters in Washington state.
Brinon fire chief Tim Manley said a woman in the Olympic National Forest, northwest of Seattle, atop Walker Mountain, was using her phone when she fell in the bathroom Tuesday. , Reported by The Kitsap Sun.
Manley said he removed the bathroom chair and used the dog strings to pick up the phone, and he later used the strings to scratch his head when he picked it up. This attempt failed and he fell down the toilet.
“They didn’t work well and were gone,” Manley said.
The woman was alone and tried to leave for 10-15 minutes. Reconnect his phone and call 911, Manley said.
The accused firefighters went through his blocks to support the harness used to get him out of the basement. Brinon firefighters said the woman was not hurt.
He was washed and “strongly urged to seek medical attention after being exposed to stool, but he just wanted to go,” the department said.
“I’ve been doing this for 40 years and this is the first time,” Manley said.
