The Kremlin did not achieve the goals set at the beginning of the war, but instead received international isolation and humiliation.
Russia does not want to give up the war against Ukraine, despite the obvious defeat, when Ukrainian troops continue to advance. This was announced on Sunday, November 13, by the head of the British Ministry of Defense, Ben Wallace, on the air of Times Radio.
At the same time, Wallace noted that the progress on the fronts, which Ukraine has already achieved, is not yet a big step, but Ukraine is now deciding what the next battles will be.
The Minister pointed out that the Ukrainians liberated the only regional center captured by the Russians since the beginning of the war, which was a serious defeat for Moscow.
At the same time, Wallace did not rule out that the Russian command may try to “crush with numbers”, using more “cannon fodder” to try to slow down the Ukrainian advance.
“No one underestimates Russia. Russia is far from surrendering,” he concluded.
It will be recalled that on November 9, the Minister of Defense of Russia, Sergei Shoigu, ordered the withdrawal of troops from the right bank of the occupied Kherson region “to save the military life and the fighting ability of the group of troops.”
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said that “everything is going according to plan”
