According to the official, Ukraine, Africa and neighboring countries remain the main destination for the allocation of funds for the EU.
The representative of the EU said that, perhaps, at the meeting on November 15, the issue of the European Peace Fund will not be considered in detail, because it is complicated and needs to be concluded. Its final consideration may take place in December.
The European Peace Fund is an intergovernmental fund established by EU member states to finance peacekeeping operations. Ukraine received a total of 3.1 billion euros from the Fund.
