The Russian invaders completely destroyed the entire energy system of Kherson. This was announced on Friday, November 11, by Dmitry Sakharuk, Executive Director of DTEK, on the air of Suspilny.

He also mentioned that power engineers will do everything possible to restore power supply in the near future.

“We need to look at those regions where there are no electric at all. Kherson has been liberated today. The occupiers have destroyed the entire energy system there. There are not exactly schedules, there is no electric at all,” the official said.

At the same time, Sakharuk said that after the de-occupation of the Kyiv region, the renewal of the energy system took 30 days.

According to him, it is expected that the same amount of work will continue in the liberated part of Kherson region.

Earlier, DTEK said emergency and hourly blackouts in the central and northern regions of Ukraine continue due to power shortages. If the Russian occupiers do not retake the infrastructure, it is possible to repair the damaged power lines within two weeks.
