Russian troops are making a “planned move” to the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region, the defense department asserted.
The troops of the Russian Federation are conducting a “maneuver” of units to prepare positions on the left bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region. This was announced at a briefing on November 10 by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov.
“In the direction of Nikolaev-Krivoy Rog, units of the group of Russian troops are maneuvering to prepared positions on the left bank of the Dnieper River, in accordance with the approved plan,” he stressed.
It will be recalled that on November 9, the Minister of Defense of Russia, Sergei Shoigu, ordered the withdrawal of troops from the right bank of the occupied Kherson region “to save the military life and the fighting ability of the group of troops.”
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that at the moment they cannot refute or confirm the information about the so-called withdrawal of Russian troops from Kherson.
