Zelensky on unblocking Mariupol: We are not ready

The servicemen in the blocked Mariupol are well aware that there is no exit yet.

The military-political leadership of Ukraine is not ready for military unblocking the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky at a press conference on Saturday, April 23.

“We have a full moral right for the military to unblock our cities. And we have high hopes that we can do it. Are we ready now? Zelensky said.

The President also mentioned that the servicemen in the blockaded Mariupol fully understand this.

“The people defending Azovstal now, the commanders understand that,” Zelensky added.

Recall that today Russia carried out a provocation and disrupted the evacuation of Mariupol. People who wanted to flee Zaporozhye were forcibly brought into the occupied territory.
