Russia’s withdrawal from Kherson is another victory for Ukraine – NATO

Kyiv has once again proved that it can regain its territories, believes Jens Stoltenberg.

The withdrawal of Russian troops from the right side of the Kherson region is another victory for Ukraine in the war against the Russian Federation. This is what NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said in a briefing in Rome on Thursday, November 10.

According to him, the Ukrainian forces have shown the ability to push back the Russian invaders and liberate their territories.

“We are considering Russia’s announcement of a retreat from Kherson. We should see how the situation on the ground develops in the coming days,” he said.

However, the Secretary General considers it clear that Russia is “under heavy pressure.”

“If they (the invaders – ed.) leave Kherson, it will be another victory for Ukraine,” Stoltenberg stressed.

We will remind, Stoltenberg previously said that the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, underestimated the courage of the Ukrainians and the support of Ukraine from the West.

Recall that on the eve of the Russian military order announced the withdrawal of troops from Kherson.
