Berlin sent Kyiv a new tranche of military aid. This is evidenced by data from the website of the German government. They updated the list of aid already received by Ukraine.
Among other things, the list of transferred weapons includes 30 Dingo armored vehicles and missiles for the Iris-T air defense system (the Germans handed over this complex to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in October). In addition, Germany handed over to the Ukrainian military the means of protection against enemy drones and their search.
The full list of help looks like this:
- 30 Dingo armored vehicles;
- rockets for Iris-T;
- 18 anti-drone and anti-jamming systems;
- 18 reconnaissance drones;
- 5 heavy tractors M1070 Oshkosh;
- 3 loaders.
The list of aid transferred to Ukraine is updated weekly. However, the German government does not disclose the number of Iris-T missiles or the characteristics of anti-drone systems.
In mid-September, Germany planned to transfer 50 Dingo armored vehicles to Ukraine. These Krauss-Maffei armored vehicles were adopted by the Bundeswehr in 2003.
The M1070 Oshkosh tank tractors, which also received APU from Germany, are designed to transport tanks, deploy and evacuate armored personnel carriers, self-propelled artillery, armored bulldozers and other heavy vehicles and equipment of all types.
Also on the website of the German government published a list of aid that they plan to send to Ukraine. Among other things, there are again rockets for Iris-T, as well as 42 armored mine-clearing vehicles, four mobile mine-clearing vehicles, remote-controlled mine-clearing devices and mobile reconnaissance systems.
Recall that on October 12, Ukraine received the first IRIS-T air defense system from Germany. Already on October 14, he was on combat duty and received favorable reviews from the Ukrainian military.
