Russia has fired more than 400 Iranian kamikaze drones across Ukraine since they were first used. This was said by Yuriy Ignat, the spokesman of the Air Force command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the air of the telethon.
“Most of the drones were shot down. But, unfortunately, it is impossible to destroy 100% of the drones. Both cruise missiles and the Shahed-136 were created to overcome air defense systems, so only a few reaching targets,” said Ignat.
It will be recalled that Iran previously admitted that it had indeed supplied drones to Russia, but according to Iranian officials, this was done before the start of a full-scale war by the Russian Federation against Ukraine. In turn, the President of Ukraine said that the words of the Tehran official were lies.
