It was noted that the spokesman of the Russian Foreign Ministry commented on the allegations “about the lack of readiness on the part of the Russian side for negotiations in Kyiv, which shows this readiness,” which sounded earlier from Berlin.
“We are still open to negotiations. We have not rejected them. We are ready to carry them out, of course, taking into account the facts that are developing at the moment,” stressed Zakharova.
Earlier, the US State Department called “baseless” the statements of the Russian authorities about their readiness for negotiations with Ukraine.
