The head of the Russian grouping of occupation forces in Ukraine, Sergei Surovikin, suggested that Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu withdraw Russian troops to the left bank of the Dnieper.
The decision to defend on the left bank of the Dnieper is not an easy one, but at the same time, we will save the lives of our military and the combat capability of the group of troops,” Surovikin’s official Russian propaganda media quoted Surovikin as saying.
Shoigu replied:
I agree, proceed with the withdrawal of troops.
The commander of the Russian troops in Ukraine said that the Russian army was withdrawing from the right bank of the Kherson region and Kherson. The occupiers will complete the withdrawal of troops in the coming days.
At the same time, Surovikin said that the forces of the Russian army, which will be released after leaving the right bank of the Dnieper, will be involved in offensive operations in other directions.
On November 8, the Minister of the so-called “defense” of Russia, Shoigu, inspected the command post of the “joint group of Russian troops, performing tasks as part of a special operation.”
RosZMI wrote that Shoigu heard a report from General Surovikin on the operational situation and on issues of providing for “chmobiks” – “servicemen who arrived in the group.”
